Arriving
Your check-in is waiting at the entrance.
At the entrance, a barrier separates the site from the road, with a marked waiting area in front of it. Right next to it stands the check-in terminal: that is where you register, even without booking ahead, and at night too.

- 01Exit 76 Geiselwind
- You leave the A3 at the Geiselwind junction and head towards the village to Wiesentheider Straße 24.
- 02Waiting area in front of the barrier
- At the entrance, a barrier separates the site from the road. In front of it lies a marked waiting area, so you are not blocking anyone while you register.
- 03Check-in at the terminal
- The check-in terminal stands right next to it. If you booked online, drive straight up to the barrier and it opens automatically; if you just turn up, you book here at the terminal.
- 04Your pitch
- Every pitch has its number, every size its colour: S, M, XL, XXL, plus the tent meadow. The sanitary building is in the middle of the site.

The sanitary building stands in the middle of the site and is freshly built. We show no stock imagery here, just real photographs.

- Showers with rain heads, washbasins with large mirrors, WCs, a baby changing table in its own cubicle, a radiator in the washroom.
- Electricity
- €0.90 per kWh, every pitch has its own connection. Plus 4 charging points for electric vehicles.
- Fresh water
- €0.10 per 10 litres. A supply and disposal point for motorhomes is right on site.
- Washing machine
- Available.
- Kiosk at the entrance
- The shop for essentials, no need to leave the site.
- Bread roll service
- For a good start to the day. Limited availability on Sundays and public holidays.
The state of play
For young and old, and honest about where things stand.
A new site is not finished in every corner on day one. We would rather tell you beforehand what is already running and what we are still working on.
- Barbecue area
- A communal barbecue area is ready for relaxed evenings, on the access road to the middle of the site.
- Dog run
- Dogs have their own run at the edge of the site. Still in progress: it is currently not fenced, fenced from spring 2027. Until then, please keep an eye on your dog there.
- Playground
- A playground is planned for children, next to the kiosk and the entrance. Still in progress: expected to open in October 2026.

Location
Just beyond the barrier lies Franconia.
The site sits at the Drei-Franken-Eck, the corner where the three parts of Franconia (Lower, Middle and Upper Franconia) meet. The Steigerwald nature park starts on the doorstep.

Since spring 2025
A campsite wakes up.
For years, an entire campsite in Geiselwind lay dormant: the grounds were there, the trees were there, only the campers were missing.
Since spring 2025, excavators have been digging their way through the old grounds. What is taking shape is not a polished-up relic but a fresh start: new pitches, a new sanitary building, new supply and disposal facilities, a check-in terminal at the entrance. When this site says ‘new’, that is not a marketing word. It is the year of construction.
The camping magazine womoclick visited the site for its series ‘Neue Stellplätze braucht das Land’ (the country needs new pitches).
